T.H.E Mid-Year Intensive

The Mid-Year Intensive takes place over 4 days:

18 June 2025, 10am–5pm

19 June 2025, 10am–5pm

20 June 2025, 10am–5pm

21 June 2025, 10am–5pm

This will culminate in a studio sharing on 21 June, from 5pm–5:40pm. Those interested in witnessing the progress and discoveries of the T.H.E Mid-Year Intensive participants, you may RSVP for the studio sharing here. Attendance is free but registration is required.

Raw, visceral, and deeply expressive—the T.H.E Mid-Year Intensive is an annual deep dive into the company’s mesmerising movement practice, rooted in HollowBody™, the methodology developed by founding artistic director Kuik Swee Boon. Over four immersive days, participants engage in technique, HollowBody™ exploration, and repertoire learning, gaining direct insight into T.H.E’s artistic process.

This year’s edition offers an exclusive opportunity to explore an excerpt from the company’s latest work, re: intertwining, premiering in April 2025. The intensive culminates in an intimate studio sharing, a space for reflection and embodied presence.

Train alongside T.H.E’s full-time dance artists and Swee Boon himself—move, discover, and experience dance in its fullest human expression.

Level: Advanced / Pre-Professional

• Prices exclude ticketing agent's booking fees.
• Once sold, tickets are strictly non-refundable or exchangeable unless the Singapore government mandates the closure of events in Singapore. Conditions of Entry

• Admission is subject to valid tickets produced at the entrance.
• Each ticket admits one person, for all four days of the intensive.

• Mobile phones must be switched off or set to silent mode in the studio.
• Patrons are required to follow all house rules and regulations set out by T.H.E Dance Company.
• No food and drinks are allowed in the venue.

Photography / Videography Recording Rules

• Photography, videography and audio recording are not permitted during the intensive, unless permission is obtained from the instructor.
