Efficient Release & Control — Class by Hong Guofeng

This release-based class starts with an improvisation warm-up to explore new movement pathways and expand range of motion. Exercises focus on floor connection, off-centredness, and personal groove, ending with a movement phrase.

About the Artist:

Guofeng Hong is an independent artist and the Artistic Director of Sigma Contemporary Dance. He has contributed to the extensive body of work for Sigma Contemporary Dance since its inception, establishing Sigma's distinct identity in the Singapore dance scene. His novel approach to choreography has driven him to create innovative pieces that extend beyond conventional stages. As a passionate dance educator, he believes in dance as a means to connect deeper with ourselves and the wider community.
