mimetic morphosis — Workshop by Panzetti/Ticconi

The workshop intends to explore movement practices linked to the notion of metamorphosis, deepening physical states that oscillate between abandonment and control, repetition and mutation, across opposing kinetic and interpretative conditions. Rhythm and numbers will be integrated as key elements in the relationship between body, space, and multitude.

About the Artists:

Ginevra Panzetti and Enrico Ticconi, based in Berlin and Torino, have collaborated since 2008, blending dance, performance, and visual art. Their work explores communication, violence, and power through historical and contemporary imagery. Recognised internationally for Harleking (2018), they have investigated the symbolic power of flags in AeReA (2019) and ARA! ARA! (2021). Their commissions include MARMO (2021) for Dance On Ensemble and INSEL (2023) for Tanz Im August. In 2024, they premiered MALEBRANCHE – Harleking Multitude with T.H.E Dance Company and ALL’ARME with Studio Contemporary Dance Company.
